Current Early Access Version
The latest Early Access version of NeoOffice is: 3.0.1.
NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access requires a PPC or Intel Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher. Some Aqua features will appear differently depending on your version of Mac OS X.
Patches
If you want to receive announcements whenever a patch or new release of NeoOffice is available, there are several options available:
- NeoOffice has built-in update checking, which by default checks for updates once a week.

Current Patch
Patch-1 is now available.
The new changes included in this patch are listed below:
- Worked around an OpenOffice.org bug that causes Impress to crash when pasting complex shapes
- Fixed an OpenOffice.org bug that causes Writer to crash when closing a specific file
- Fixed a problem where Command-` only cycles through 2 of the open document windows on Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopardâ€
- Fixed a problem where documents were rendered incorrectly when the monitor is changed to a lower resolution
- Fixed an issue where windows do not resize properly when the monitor is changed to a lower resolution
- Fixed a bug where Command-W did not close the NeoOffice Mobile window
- Fixed a bug where Command-M incorrectly minimizes palette (floating) windows
- Worked around an Apple bug on Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard†that would cause no menus to appear when system language is Hebrew or Arabic
- Fixed a bug where Arabic letters were pushed outside document margins on Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard†Snow Leopard
Note: Patch-1 requires a full installation of NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access and will not install on any version of NeoOffice 3.0 or 2.x. Patch-1 includes all fixes and additions of previous patches.
Older Patches
3.0.1 Early Access Patch-1: The new changes included in this patch are listed below:
- Fixed a bug causing the table toolbar in Draw not to update fully
- Fixed an issue where glyphs were misplaced in special characters dialog when running on Mac OS X 10.6
- Fixed a problem where saving silently fails when overwriting files on iDisk or WebDAV volumes
- Fixed OutOfMemory exceptions when running Sun Presenter Console on Mac OS X 10.6
New Features in NeoOffice 3.0.1
