RetroOfficeâ„¢ is a Macintosh version of OpenOffice.org that includes the ooo-build code used by most Linux distributions (rather than the stock OpenOffice.org code used by Sun Microsystems and OpenOffice.org Mac OS X (X11)).

RetroOffice is an X11 program and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher and Apple's X11 implementation (/Utilities/X11.app). RetroOffice is available for both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintoshes.

Who should use RetroOffice?

Most Mac users should use NeoOffice. Only users who are comfortable with UNIX and X11 should use RetroOffice. If you don't already know that you should use RetroOffice, then you don't want to use it.
