Talk:RetroOffice
From NeoWiki
I've translated the features comparison into Fr, but I don't understand exactly the sense of "xhost", i.e. the difference between host and xhost? Thanks --Jgd 07:27, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
It's a technical term (and command name) related to how X11 works. When you xhost something, you allow other X11 computers to talk to the X11 running on your computer and to run X11 programs located on your computer (in this case, RetroOffice).
I think it's probably safe to leave it untranslated. —Sardisson 11:01, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
Thank you very much. Thus I leave it in English. --Jgd 12:41, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
