3.2.1 Patch-17 is now available.

The new changes included in this patch are listed below:

  • Moved the location of NeoOffice temporary files to the ~/Library/Application Support/NeoOffice folder to protect them from deletion by rogue processes while NeoOffice is running.
  • Fixed a crash when selecting certain options in the pop-up menu that is displayed when text is input in the Spotlight field of the Open File dialogue.
  • Fixed a hang in the underlying OpenOffice.org code that could sometimes occur on certain machines when quitting NeoOffice.

Note: 3.2.1 Patch-17 requires a full installation of NeoOffice 3.2.1 and will not install on any version of NeoOffice 3.1.2, NeoOffice 3.2, or NeoOffice 3.2.1 Beta. Patch-17 includes all fixes and additions of previous patches.

Older Patches

The new changes included in this patch are listed below: 3.2.1 Patch-5: The new changes included in this patch are listed below:

  • Fixed an OpenOffice.org bug where editing certain spreadsheets that use the RATE function and are embedded within an .odt file will cause NeoOffice to crash.
  • NeoOffice now exports high resolution bitmap images for EPS graphics when saving an .odt file to a .doc or .docx file in order to work around an OpenOffice.org bug that caused EPS graphics to be lost when saving to those file formats.

3.2.1 Patch-4: The new changes included in this patch are listed below:

  • Fixed an OpenOffice.org bug where opening certain .docx files causes comments to be merged and repeated.
  • Dragging a table column name from the data source pane to the document pane no longer fails.
  • A failed login no longer shows a blank page in the NeoOffice Mobile window.
  • Pressing the window zoom button no longer causes incorrect resizing on the NeoOffice Mobile login screen.
  • Simplified the process for downloading and installing future patches and new versions of NeoOffice:
    • Starting with NeoOffice 3.2.1 Patch-4, NeoOffice will download the update from within NeoOffice, instead of opening your web browser. If downloading of the update fails or gets interrupted, NeoOffice will automatically try to resume the download from where the download failed.
    • After the download completes, NeoOffice will automatically open the downloaded disk image and ask if you want to install the update now or install it later. If you choose to install the update now, NeoOffice will quit normally and launch the installer on the downloaded disk image. If you choose to install the update later, you will be asked if you want to install the update when you quit NeoOffice.

  • Fixed an issue where Asian fonts are not exported to PDF on Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”.
  • Improved support for the new Versions feature of Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” by adding the ability to view all pages of past versions of NeoOffice documents.
