To create an outline use the following steps:
- Go to the Format menu and choose Bullets and Numbering….
- In the Bullets and Numbering window that opens, select the Outline tab.
- The closest NeoOffice comes to the traditional outline numbering format is the left-most one on the second row, (Uppercase Roman, lowercase letters, lowercase Roman, lowercase letters, solid small circular bullet) and that is missing a few options.
- A Bullets and Numbering toolbar will open and with buttons to manage line items.
