These are the Release Notes for NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2, currently available for testing. Release Notes for NeoOffice 3.2.1, the current stable version, can be found here.

Current Beta Version
The latest Beta version of NeoOffice is: 3.3 Beta 2.
NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2 requires an Intel Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or higher. Some Aqua features will appear differently depending on your version of Mac OS X.
Patches
If you want to receive announcements whenever a patch or new release of NeoOffice is available, there are several options available:
- NeoOffice has built-in update checking, which by default checks for updates once a week.
- Trinity users can sign up for email notifications of any release or patch announcements posted in this topic by clicking on this link.
- If you prefer feeds to email, you can subscribe to our patch and release announcements RSS feed by clicking on this RSS feed using your web browser or feed aggregator.
- Twitter users can also follow NeoOffice on Twitter for patch and release announcements.
Current Patch
Patch-1 is now available. The new changes included in this patch are listed below:
- Fixed a bug that cuased the menubar to only display the NeoOffice menu after closing a document window in certain cases
- Floating windows now stay in front of the current document window in more cases
- Clicking on NeoOffice's Dock icon when all document windows are minimized will again unminimize a document window
- Selecting the checked document in the Windows menu when the checked document is minimized now unminimizes that window
- Autocompletion text is once again erased when using the Undo command
Note: Patch-1 requires a full installation of NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2 and will not install on any version of NeoOffice 3.3 Beta, 3.2.x, 3.1.x or 3.0.x. Patch-1 includes all fixes and additions of previous patches.
Older Patches
NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2 includes all of the code in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta with Patch-1 plus fixes for several bugs reported by our users after NeoOffice 3.3 Beta Patch-1 was released. Below is a list of the bugs in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta with Patch-1 that we fixed in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2:
- Lines in certain charts no longer appear twice as thick when printed as they appear in previous versions of NeoOffice.
- Margins should no longer be shifted when printing on certain printers.
New Features in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2
Some of the most significant new features in NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2 include:
- Compatible with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and Gatekeeper
- New Cocoa code replaces Java, which is no longer required for core functionality
- High resolution text drawing on Retina displays
- Improved startup and printing speed
- English, French, German, and Italian language packs included in the default install
