Note: it is not necessary to uninstall the previous version of NeoOffice before installing a new version. The new version of NeoOffice will install over an existing NeoOffice installation.

Uninstall the NeoOffice application

To uninstall the NeoOffice application, just drag NeoOffice from the /Applications folder from the Finder into the Trash and empty the Trash.

Remove all folders that contain your NeoOffice user preferences, macros, and extensions

If you want to remove all folders that contain your NeoOffice user preferences, macros, and extensions, use the following steps:

NeoOffice Classic Edition

  1. In the Finder, select the Go > Go to Folder menu. In the dialog that appears, enter ~/Library/Preferences and press the Go button. In the folder that appears, drag the following files and folders to the Trash:
    1. All folders with a name starting with NeoOffice
    2. All files with a name starting with org.neooffice.Neoffice.
  2. In the Finder, select the Go > Go to Folder menu. In the dialog that appears, enter ~/Library/Application Support and press the Go button. In the folder that appears, drag the following files and folders to the Trash:
    1. All folders with a name starting with NeoOffice
  3. In the Finder, select the Go > Go to Folder menu. In the dialog that appears, enter ~/Library/Caches and press the Go button. In the folder that appears, drag the following files and folders to the Trash:
    1. The folder with the name soffice.bin
  4. Empty the Trash
