Current Version

The latest version of NeoOffice is: 2.2.3.

NeoOffice 2.2.3 requires a PPC Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.3.9, 10.4.11, or 10.5.2, or an Intel Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.2. Some Aqua features will appear differently depending on your version of Mac OS X.

Patches

If you want to receive announcements whenever a patch or new release of NeoOffice is available, subscribe to the NeoJUpdate mailing list. To subscribe to the NeoJUpdate mailing list, send an e-mail to neojupdate-subscribe@heapsys.com.

Current Patch

There is no patch available for NeoOffice 2.2.3.

Older Patches

NeoOffice 2.2.3 includes all of the fixes previously available in NeoOffice 2.2.2 with Patch-11, but it includes significant new code and requires a new, full download.

New Features in NeoOffice 2.2.3

If you have not downloaded a release of NeoOffice since version 2.2.2, there are several new features in NeoOffice 2.2.3. Some of the most significant include:

  • Support for playing QuickTime video in documents (Mac OS X 10.4.x and higher only)
  • Menus are available when no documents are open
  • Import of images from scanners and cameras
  • Command-clicking on window titlebar reveals the document path
  • Use of the system-wider grammar checker (Mac OS X 10.5.x only)
  • Updates to the Akua icon set
