Current Version

The latest version of NeoOffice is: 3.2.1.

NeoOffice 3.2.1 requires an Intel Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher. Some Aqua features will appear differently depending on your version of Mac OS X.

(NeoOffice 3.1.2 is still available for users with PowerPC Macs running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.8 or Intel Macs running 10.4.11.)

Patches

If you want to receive announcements whenever a patch or new release of NeoOffice is available, there are several options available:

  • NeoOffice has built-in update checking, which by default checks for updates once a week.

3.2.1 Patch-17 is now available.

The new changes included in this patch are listed below:

  • Fixed a possible crash opening certain .docx files.
  • Fixed an issue where vertical Chinese text is shifted left and downward on Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard”.
  • Fixed a problem where vertical fonts are drawn using zero glyph width on Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”.
  • Fixed an issue where Asian fonts are not exported to PDF on Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”.
  • Improved support for the new Versions feature of Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” by adding the ability to view all pages of past versions of NeoOffice documents.

Note: 3.2.1 Patch-17 requires a full installation of NeoOffice 3.2.1 and will not install on any version of NeoOffice 3.1.2, NeoOffice 3.2, or NeoOffice 3.2.1 Beta. Patch-17 includes all fixes and additions of previous patches.

Older Patches

NeoOffice 3.2.1 includes all of the fixes previously available in NeoOffice 3.2.1 Beta but requires a new, full download.
