Current revision

After fixing critical NeoOffice 3.0 bugs reported by our users in previous patches, we have continued work on additional speed and stability improvements for our users.

In June 2009 we released NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 3 with the following new speed improvements:

Spreadsheet formula calculation speed improvements

Recently, Sun Microsystems' OpenOffice.org engineers released OpenOffice.org 3.1 with some significant speed improvements when working with large spreadsheets in Calc. While in most cases it is not feasible to integrate code from a newer version of OpenOffice.org than the version that NeoOffice is based on, in this case we were able to isolate and merge the following two OpenOffice.org 3.1 Calc speed improvements into NeoOffice 3.0:
