These are the Release Notes for NeoOffice 3.3 Beta 2, currently available through the NeoOffice Early Access Program (or via a personal build from the source). Release Notes for NeoOffice 3.0, the current freely-available version, can be found here.

Current Early Access Version

The latest Early Access version of NeoOffice is: 3.0.1.

NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access requires a PPC or Intel Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher. Some Aqua features will appear differently depending on your version of Mac OS X.

Patches

If you want to receive announcements whenever a patch or new release of NeoOffice is available, there are several options available:

  • NeoOffice has built-in update checking, which by default checks for updates once a week.
  • Trinity users can sign up for email notifications of any release or patch announcements posted in this topic by clicking on this link.
  • If you prefer feeds to email, you can subscribe to our patch and release announcements RSS feed by clicking on this RSS feed using your web browser or feed aggregator.

Current Patch

Patch-1 is now available.

The new changes included in this patch are listed below:

  • Fixed a bug causing the table toolbar in Draw not to update fully
  • Fixed an issue where glyphs were misplaced in special characters dialog when running on Mac OS X 10.6
  • Fixed a problem where saving silently fails when overwriting files on iDisk or WebDAV volumes
  • Fixed OutOfMemory exceptions when running Sun Presenter Console on Mac OS X 10.6

Note: Patch-1 requires a full installation of NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access and will not install on any version of NeoOffice 3.0 or 2.x. Patch-1 includes all fixes and additions of previous patches.

Older Patches

NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access includes all of the fixes previously available in NeoOffice 3.0 with Patch-7, but it requires a new, full download.
