Contents

Welcome!

This is the official for not one, but two free Mac OS X ports of OpenOffice.org, the ultimate open-source Microsoftâ„¢ Office-compatible "suite" featuring a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing software, and much more.

NeoOffice/J

The stable, fast Java-based version. Actively developed and recommended to new users. The beta of version 1.1, based on OpenOffice.org 1.1.3, was released on December 21, 2004.

NeoOffice/C

NeoOffice/C, the older, highly experimental, less-stable Cocoa-based version. Not active any more. (Note: "C" is for Cocoa. That's good enough for me.)
